What better way to celebrate the season than with spring-themed cupcakes? Baker Aileen Avila decorates her cloudlike mini cakes with so much heart that you might not want to eat them.

But do. Imagine biting into a tall layer of fluffy frosting and cake that’s nearly as light.

Avila, who is a self-taught baker, makes her cupcakes to order and can whip up as many as you need for any size party. Her online menu ranges from the Come and Get Me red velvet to Pinkie, a yellow cake with a luscious poof of pastel pink.

Avila, who calls her business Tulula, offers free delivery on orders over $72 (about two-dozen cupcakes) from her commercial kitchen in Livermore to Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore. Delivery outside of those cities within a 10-mile radius costs $10.

For information and to place an order, visit tastetulula.com.
