Looking for a great item to really bring a room together? Check out the American Craft Council’s San Francisco Fine Craft Show this month. One of the most prestigious craft shows in the United States, the exhibit features sculpture, jewelry, and mixed-media works by 250 artists—and wine tastings from Northern California wineries.
East Bay presenters include Rob Tribble, a Danville glass artist (work pictured), Berkeley jewelry artist April Higashi, and Sharon Wheat, a Berkeley fiber and wood artist.
The American Craft Council show runs August 11–13 in the Herbst and Festival pavilions at Fort Mason Center, Marina Boulevard at Buchanan Street, San Francisco. Admission is $10 per person; $16 for a two-day pass; children under 12 free.
