Are you Experienced?
Fourth annual Urban Wine Experience coming to town.
Berkeley and Oakland may not be lined with lush vineyards like Napa and Sonoma, but these and neighboring urban areas are home to more than a dozen wineries. These wineries, part of the East Bay Vintner’s Alliance, will celebrate their success with the fourth annual Urban Wine Experience on Saturday, August 8.
From 2 to 5 p.m., oenophiles will meander through the meadow at Jack London Square, holding out their complimentary Riedel glasses for wines poured by at least 14 urban wineries, including A Donkey and Goat, and Dashe Cellars. They will enjoy food, too, as Bellanico, Adagia, and other Bay Area restaurants will offer food and wine pairings.
The event sold out the last two years, so grab your ticket for $45 now at eastbayvintners.com, or take your chances at the door and pay $60. The East Bay Vinters website also features updated event information, including public transportation options.
