With its unassuming locale, you’d be forgiven for walking past iPho. But don’t: Danville’s sole Vietnamese restaurant is worth a stop. Inside, you’ll find a casual, family-friendly ambiance, and generous portions showing off the traditional flavors of Vietnam.
Pick from appetizers including spring rolls ($4.95), fried wontons ($5.50), and greens and grilled rolls with your choice of meat ($5.75). Carnivores can chow down on the ever-popular pho meat noodle soups ($7.95; there are veggie soups as well), traditional bún plates, with grilled pork and vermicelli noodles over a bed of greens, or com dia rice platters.
Special Indeed: Check out the specials, including a lively, spicy lemongrass chicken sautéed with onions, bell peppers, and spices ($8.45).
Wash it Down: Wet your palate with Thai iced tea, fresh-squeezed juice, or a variety of fun-flavored sodas.
Kids Welcome: iPho is more than accommodating to families with small children, who will love the restaurant’s fresh fruit smoothies.
