To welcome summer, the Lamorinda Arts Alliance presents a new exhibit titled “A Warm Palette” at the Lindsay Dirkx Brown Gallery in San Ramon. The exhibit opens on Monday, June 3, 2019 and runs through Thursday, June 27, 2019.
We asked our member artists to dazzle us with the warm colors of the season: yellows, oranges, reds and pinks. Other colors are always welcome, however, we were are looking for the “warmest palette”.
The featured artists are Jane Corich of Walnut Creek who is showing two of her complex, richly painted abstracts. Sylvia Fones, of Piedmont, paints delicate oils that are beautifully composed and her husband, Don Fones will dazzle us with his colorful flower photographs. Karen Baden Thapa, LAA artist and Board member curated this exhibit.
Our reception will be held on Saturday, June 8th, from 3pm to 5pm. Visit with the artists, and enjoy appetizers and beverages while you browse our artwork.
