San Ramon Farmers' Market will celebrate its grand re-opening at its new location at City Center Bishop Ranch on Saturday, May 4. The market will feature more than 40 local, organic and seasonal growers, fresh seafood, artisan food makers, hearth-baked breads and pastries, and a small food courtyard accompanied by live music.
Opening day festivities will begin with a “Bread Breaking” ceremony at 9 a.m. led by San Ramon Mayor Bill Clarkson. There will also be raffles featuring vendor-donated prizes including a free box of produce, and live music from Les Amis Zydeco Band, known for its authentic and unique zydeco, creole and Cajun dance music.
The market operates Saturdays year-round from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. City Center Bishop Ranch is located at the corner of Bollinger Canyon Road and Camino Ramon.
