Amazing Students: Where Are They Now?

Our "superhero students" have been busy since we profiled them back in March. Find out where they're headed next.

We profiled several outstanding students in "The Incredibles" in our March 2015 issue. Now that the seniors have graduated, here's what they're up to next. (See the original article here.)

Ashley Chan: Ashley graduated from Valley Christian High and will be moving across the country to study biology Cornell University in New York. She hopes to become a pediatric oncologist.

Lacy Dagan: After she recovers from a torn ACL she experienced earlier this year, Lacy will attend the University of Florida, where she plans to study physical therapy or personal training.

Lauren Santo Domingo: Wellesley College in Massachusetts will be lucky to have Lauren, an Athenian School graduate. She hopes to study social justice issues.

Toni Finnane: Toni will continue her running career and will study business at University of Notre Dame in Indiana, and is spending the summer training. 

Alexandra Fisher: "Alli," a Carondelet High grad, is headed to Duke University in North Carolina, where she will study computer science and continue to maintain her New Year’s Resolution of being on time.

Neil Gupta: Monte Vista High School grad Neil is moving on to UC Berkeley, where he'll study computer science.

Fatima Hasanain: Fatima, a Miramonte graduate, will attend UC Berkeley and plans to study law.

Piper Krugell: After a summer visit to China, Las Lomas graduate Piper will be attending Diablo Valley College before heading off to a four-year college.

Chris LeBoa: Bishop O’Dowd High graduate Chris will attend Stanford University and major in biomedical engineering. But first, he plans on biking through Italy after finishing a project at University of California San Francisco studying the antifungal properties of frog bacteria.

Ravi Maddali: Ravi will be moving across the country to attend Columbia University in New York, where he hopes to study political science and economics.

Saranesh Prembabu: Saranesh will follow an exciting spring of visiting the White House and meeting the president by attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the fall, where he is considering studying physics.

Erica Quinn: Harvey Mudd College in Southern California admitted Erica early, and The College Preparatory student is considering a focus on engineering.

David Rios: David will be taking a gap year to continue his philanthropic work in Nicaragua; in California with AmeriCorps; or on a local indian reservation.

Torin Rittenberg: When graduation festivities are over, Torin, Bentley’s Male Athlete of the Year, will be attending the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.

Vernon Wetzell: A De La Salle grad, Vernon will attend UC Santa Cruz to major astrophysics. He also plans to swim in the swim team.

Joseph Wu: Northgate High alum and DVC grad Joseph will stay active in the real estate business and plans pursue courses in economics.

Megan Yee: Acalanes alum Megan will join Northwestern’s School of Journalism in Illinois, where she will continue to hone her journalism skills.

Matthew Yeung: California High grad Matthew will be attending Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts to major in the field of gender studies.
