How Fast Time Flies
Popular Walnut Creek–based digital scrapbooking company grows up, adding wedding and travel themes to its popular childhood collection.
"I Do" collection
In the May issue, we named Walnut Creek resident Cathy Bennett one of the East Bay’s Women to Watch. Her web-based digital scrapbooking company, How Fast They Grow, helped busy mothers preserve memories quickly and beautifully with cutting-edge drag-and-drop technology. Everyone from Real Simple to Daily Candy was singing her praises.
This week, How Fast They Grow became How Fast Time Flies. In addition to offering its popular kid-themed scrapbook templates, the company has expanded to include wedding and travel themes, too. The 84 new templates are beautifully designed by Lynn Grieveson—wedding pages with florals and fleurs-de-lis, travel templates with maps and postcards.
The simple creation process remains the same. Members log onto the site and place photos and text into predesigned templates.
Pages are then printed on 12-by-12 card stock and shipped to members’ homes for $5.50 each. And unlike bound photo books, How Fast Time Flies’ system allows users to build scrapbooks one page at a time, growing and changing along with life itself.
