Bocce National Championships comes to Livermore

Campo di Bocce to host the nation's best players this June.

Campo di Bocce, the popular Italian eatery in Livermore with eight bocce courts, announced they will be hosting the Bocce National Championships in June. The winners will continue on to the World Championship set for a later date in 2009. This is not the first time the local bocce courts location have been internationally recognized—Campo di Bocce hosted the North American Championships in 2006 and the United States Bocce Federation Championships in 2007. And just to show they practice what they preach, Campo's Chief Operating Officer Benjamin Musolf is a world-class individual competitor and will be coaching the U.S. women's team at the World Bocce Championships in Bavagna, Italy, in March.
