Don't look now, but it looks like Diablo readers have some beef with our editors' picks for the East Bay's best burgers.
Go ahead, we can take it: give us your feedback on the story—or check out what other Diabloites have to say—in our Burger Forum.

 

Here's a small sampler of what we're hearing so far:

 
My favorite cut of beef is hamburger so I was very surprised that 3 that I think are among the very best are missing from your list: the Kobe hamburger at the Bistro at the Park (and the Duck Club) and the hamburgers at the Left Bank and Casa Orinda. I think they are each infinitely superior to many of those on your list.

I agree that Left Bank's burgers should be included. It is definitely my favorite! And the french fries are the best. A close second for me would be found at Chow in Lafayette.
