Various locations, Livermore, $3 tasting fee at most locations, www.lvwine.org.

January 24–25: Lunar New Year Bazaar
It’s the Year of the Ox, and Oakland’s Chinatown is celebrating in a big way, with 10 city blocks of traditional gifts and goods, dragon and lion dancing, martial arts demonstrations, and Chinese cultural music. Plus, they’ll crown the adorable Little Prince and Little Princess. 7th to 11th streets and Broadway to Harrison streets, Oakland, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., free, (510) 893-8979, www.oaklandchinatownchamber.org/lunarbazaar/.
