January 29–February 28: 2 Pianos 4 Hands
The stars of Center REP’s 2 Pianos 4 Hands are übertalented. To secure their roles, they had to not only be good actors and singers, but concert pianists!  Audiences of all ages will enjoy this two-man play about music, dreams, competition, and hard work. January 30: Calvin Trillin
Chat with bestselling author and New Yorker essayist Calvin Trillin over a lunch hosted by Rakestraw Books. He’ll read from and sign his latest, Deciding the Next Decider: The 2008 Presidential Race in Rhyme, which recalls the platforms, speeches, and gaffes of the general election in humorous poetry. January 30: Labelle
Hey sister, go sister, soul sister, go sister ... Put on your dancing shoes, because The Queen of Rock & Soul is coming to town. Patti LaBelle, Nona Hendryx, and Sarah Dash are back as "Labelle," and touring on the heels of their October 2008 release "Back to Now." January 31: Mustard Magic
Napa Valley’s annual Mustard Festival kicks off with the opulent Mustard Magic. Paintings come to life, luxurious trips and art are auctioned, a dance floor beckons, and, of course, there’s the food and wine. Mustard Festival events continue through Spring—check the website for details.
