Important fundraiser at 1515 tonight

Auction and dinner benefits supports Richmond family

Seven months ago, Julian Zaragoza’s Christmas tree caught fire at his Richmond home and burned over 70 percent of his body. The five-year-old’s twin brother, Francisco, was killed in the flames and the boy’s North Richmond home was demolished. Julian spent about five months in the burn center at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose. He reunited with his family in their new south Richmond home in May.

Get out of the heat this evening and enjoy an air-conditioned fundraiser dinner at 1515 Restaurant & Lounge in Walnut Creek to benefit the Zaragoza family. Tony Dudum, 1515 owner, is donating all proceeds from the dinner and auction to the Zaragoza’s mounting medical costs. Show up and show your support for Julian and his family. Enter a raffle as well as an auction for the chance to win San Francisco Giants tickets, a week in Palm Desert, gift certificates and personal training at Club Sport.

Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. tonight and costs $50 per person, raffle tickets are $5 each, Wednesday, July 9 at 1515 Restaurant & Lounge, 1515 North Main St., Walnut Creek, www.1515wc.com.
