The streets are alive with the sound of music

Sounds Around Town music series will take place the second Fridays of summer in downtown Walnut Creek

The Sounds Around Town music series will take place the second Fridays of July, August and September from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Guests can stroll through the downtown area, enjoying live music and Downtown Walnut Creek’s assortment of first-rate shops and restaurants.

Musicians will be playing at eight designated locations through downtown:

American Cancer Society Discovery Shop- 1538 Locust Street
Parking lot at corner of Bonanza & Locust
Near Lark Creek & San Francisco Creamery- 1360 Locust Street/ 1370 Locust Street
La Fogata Parking Lot- 1315 N Main Street
Fountain in front of Mechanics Bank- 1350 N Main Street
Fountain in front of Wells Fargo Bank- 800 S Broadway
Patio of OI-C Bowl- 1616 N Main Street
Liberty Bell Plaza (in front of Il Fornaio)- Broadway & Mount Diablo Blvd.

I heard some music yesterday on Locust Street. It was way cool. A guy playing a chelo. Good idea Walnut Creek!
