Easy 925 opens in Danville, Diablo is there

New nightclub/bar offers sexy cocktails, and a sophisticated vibe

Easy 925 is the latest addition to Danville’s nightlife. The lounge held an opening celebration Thursday, October 16th and we were there to give you the scoop. While a little difficult to find due to its location—the same spot where Six80 Lounge and Blend used to reside—the Easy has potential as a hidden treasure. The building is somewhat unapproachable as it is set in the shadows behind Marcello’s Italiana Cocina, but friendly staff members greet clientele at the door.

Once inside, the club gives off a very intimate setting. With trendy décor of chocolate walls backlit with fiber optic’s illuminating satirical quotes, fireplace, and flat screen TV’s displaying sport channels, the club is uptown, yet casual. The full bar offered generous specialty cocktails, such as a Good & Plenty ($11) with lucid absinth, and a Lemonhead ($10) rimmed with pulverized bits of the sour candy.

It’s pricing is moderate with $9-13 cocktails made of organic and premium ingredients. While there is limited room to dance, a DJ spins Tuesday-Saturday to themed nights. Happy hour is 3-8 pm every day  (1-8 pm Saturday and Sunday) consisting of $1 off draft beer and specialty cocktails. With appeal to a mixed crowd, Easy 925 is the place to have a relaxing night out for business or leisure.

Easy 925 is located at 519 San Ramon Valley Blvd. in Danville, CA. Open Mon-Fri 3pm 2am, Sat & Sunday 1pm-2am. www.easy925.com.

Easy 925 also offers a second Happy Hour from 11pm until close. This was especially attractive to me, as I work at a restaurant in Danville. By the time I get off work most places are already closed. Woo-hoo for Service Industry Love! Easy Does It!!!
