Oakland Zoo's Boo at the Zoo
There's lots of early Halloween fun to be had this weekend at the Oakland Zoo. The Zoo's Boo at the Zoo events include watching the animals get their trick or treat feedings and a free ride ticket for every child wearing a costume. More information the press release below!
Boo at the Zoo 2008!
Calling all ghosts, ghouls, goblins, princesses, and super heroes to the Oakland Zoo's family friendly Halloween celebration! The Oakland Zoo presents Boo at the Zoo Saturday, October 25 & Sunday, October 26 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. This Halloween themed event will feature activities throughout the Zoo. So, wear your costumes and strut your spooky stuff!
Activities Include:
A Spooky Scavenger Hunt
Live entertainment
Ride the Boo Choo-Choo
Watch Halloween Animal Feedings
Children wear your Halloween costumes and receive a free rides ticket (excludes the Skyride)
Explore the Valley Children's Zoo, including the many fascinating creepy crawlies in the Bug House and the leather-winged flyers in the Malayan Bat Exhibit.
Pick up a Treat bag
Don’t miss the Valley Children’s Zoo Costume Parade led by the Zoo’s own mascot, Roosevelt the alligator!
COST: Boo at the Zoo is FREE with regular Zoo admission.
Senior Admission: $7.00
Adult Admission: $10.50
Child Admission (2-14) $7.00
Children under 2: FREE
