KRV Snowboard shop to open in Danville this weekend
Carve some time out of your weekend for the KRV Grand Opening Blow Out September 20-21 at Danville’s Rose Garden. KRV is kicking it up big-time, bringing in pro skaters, snowboarders and surfers for demonstrations and signings. Nothing is standing in KRV’s way for making this an awesome event: they’re even bringing in the snow and holding a Snowboard Rail Jam on Sunday.
Better get to KRV at 10am on Saturday if you want to sign up for the Game of Skate and Snowboard Rail Jam. The first fifty guests will receive a KRV
Skate Deck for $1. At noon Pro Billabong Surfers Mike “Snips” Parsons, Alistair Craft and Adam Repogle will be signing autographs and giving away posters. Then watch demos by the Volcom Skate Team or show off your own moves in the Game of Skate—$250 prizes make it hard to resist. Winners will also be invited to join the first KRV Skate Team.
The KRV Fashion Show and Model Search at 8pm on Saturday evening will highlight KRV’s hot new clothes and trends for the season. One of the 12 San Ramon Valley and Monte Vista High School students participating in the catwalk display will become KRV’s model for the year and appear in KRV’s print ads.
On Sunday KRV is bringing in the snow to kick-off the Rail Jam with demos by professional snowboarders. Sunday isn’t just for snowboarders, though:
surfers can enter to win surf lessons for six with Step Into Liquid’s Mike “Snips” Parsons in Santa Cruz.
Throughout both days, 20 tents will be set-up with vendors from Volcom, Hurley, Element, Haviana, Reef, Barton snowboards, among others. Check out the latest gear and enter to win raffles and giveaways.
