The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) provides long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries.  UNICEF is currently focused on five primary priorities: child survival and development, basic education and gender equality, child protection from violence, exploitation, and abuse, HIV/AIDS and children, and policy advocacy and partnerships for children’s rights.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is a national organization whose mission is to “enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

On September 14th, John Muir Amphitheater will be taken over by vendors, musicians, community members, and music lovers for a benefit concert.  Join us for this rock celebration, bring the whole family, and don’t forget those donations for UNICEF and the Boys and Girls Club!
