If you never had a chance to see the Swedish pop sensation ABBA in concert, here's the next best thing: Waterloo: the ABBA Experience is coming to the Lesher Center on November 14. This tribute concert from West Coast Performing Arts Presenters is sure to get the entire Hofmann Theatre audience on its feet, clapping and singing along to "Mamma Mia," "Dancing Queen," "Fernando," and other ridiculously catchy ABBA songs.
The night after the ABBA show, another female pop icon will be honored when Hello Gorgeous!, A Live Tribute to Barbra Stresiand takes center stage. The November 15 concert features actress and singer Rebecca Clark performing Streisand's best-known songs without any sync or voice track trickery. Clark's one-woman show includes lots of audience interaction, and covers all phases of Streisand's remarkable career on stage, film, and television.
West Coast Performing Arts Presenters will return in February 2016 with tribute concerts to Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, and The Beatles.
