The beloved Chevron Family Theatre Festival returns on July 18 with a full day of delights.

The ninth annual Chevron Family Theatre Festival is an all-day celebration of all things art. The July 18 event takes over the entire Lesher Center for the Arts—including all three theatres and the lobby spaces—as well as a large section of Locust Street outside the building.

Live stage performances, music and dance, and crafts and activities are just some of the fun events scheduled for the family-friendly festival, which is sponsored by the San Ramon-based Chevron Corporation.

“At Chevron, we believe in benefiting communities where we have a significant presence” said Linda Padon, General Manager for Chevron’s Global Corporate Public Policy. Chevron has been a supporter of the Lesher Center and Diablo Regional Arts Association since the Center opened in 1990.

“Chevron’s corporate headquarters are in Contra Costa County, and the majority of our approximately 9,000 Bay Area employees live and work here,” Padon says. The arts make a community a better place to live and enrich our lives.”
