Puesto is family-owned and operated by Tacoteur brothers Eric, Alan & Alex Adler alongside cousins Isidoro and Moy Lombrozo. The family was inspired to bring their Mexican roots to California, thus Puesto is a combination of authentic Mexican flavors and California’s fresh, local ingredients. Puesto’s chefs and team travel throughout the year to Mexico to draw inspiration from local flavors and spices, taste new Mexican wines from Valle de Guadalupe and visit local craft breweries, selecting authentic flavors and beverages for the menu.

The space was designed by Paul Basile of BASILE Studio and features custom artwork by Bay Area graffiti artist Chor Boogie, who is consistently ranked in the top three of U.S. street artists. The 7,500-square foot space, with indoor and outdoor seating, combines industrial elements and draws influence from the Modernist urban landscape of Mexico City. The design features a 75-foot textured lattice floating wall, dual layer mural with grayscale elements, handmade concrete tiles, wooden feature wall, custom-made furniture, a Flaco Design “flight of tacos” light fixture, Balsa wood tabletops, warm copper accents, wrap-around patio seating with hydraulic windows, and a chef’s table for special events. A massive, interactive liquor carousel revolves around a giant skylight and at the push of a button, the hydraulic shelving kneels to the bartender. With 8 different types of seating, the 250-capacity restaurant can be configured to host events of various sizes.

Puesto is open daily Friday, Saturday, Tuesday from 11am to 10pm and every other day from 11am to 9pm.
