Lafayette Park Hotel to Host First Food and Beer-maker Dinner

A combination of food and beer from the Russian River Brewing Co. tonight.

Comfortable location? Check. good food? Check. Award-winning beer? Oh, check yeah. After running a successful wine-maker dinner series, the Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa is hosting its first beer-maker dinner event this Friday at 6:30 p.m. and hopes to create similar success.

Dishes include spice-rubbed beef tri-tip, cinnamon-seared duck breast and caraway-dusted day boat scallops. And as far as the beer goes, the award-winning beer will be provided by the Santa Rosa based Russian River Brewing Company The brewing company has created lauded beers since 1997, and their Brewmaster, Vinnie Cilurzo, will be at the event describing how the beers are designed and produced.
