Super Cheap Eats: Casper's Signature Dogs Just 75¢ Today

East Bay institution celebrating 75th anniversary with discounted hot dogs at 8 locations.

Come pick up a signature “Casper Dog” for only 75 cents to commemorate the award-winning hot dog eatery’s 75th Anniversary and National Hot Dog Month. Caspers, which first opened in Oakland in 1934, is also recognizing employees who have served up dogs for decades: Dolores Larkin, known fondly as the Hot Dog Lady, has worked at the Pleasant Hill location for 54 years!

Hurry down to the Walnut Creek location—as of noon we heard it was only a ten-minute wait. (only one hot dog per person)
