Tough economic times forces closure of two Left Bank restaurants, including East Bay location.

Left Bank in Pleasant Hill, a 2007 Diablo Food Award Winner, closed their doors Monday, June 22nd. Due to tough economic times, Vine Dining Enterprises, Inc., which owns a small string of boutique eateries, closed the Left Bank restaurants locations in San Mateo and Pleasant Hill. According to Richard Miyashiro, president and chief executive officer of Vine Dining: “We are grateful for the loyal support and patronage that we have received from the citizens in Pleasant Hill, San Mateo, and the surrounding communities the past decade.” For die-hard fans of the restaurant, San Jose, Menlo Park, and Larkspur Left Bank locations are still open for business.
