Art Talks at Chevalier
Free appetizers this Wednesday as French restaurant partners with Lafayette Gallery to feature local artists and their work.

French restaurant Chevalier is partnering with the Lafayette Gallery to host Art Talks, featuring a discussion by various local artists about their works this Wednesday, October 14 at 4:30 p.m. Guests will hear from Paula Boas, Judith Feins, and Linda Yoshizawa, each of whom have their own unique form of art.
Pittsburg-born Paula Boas spent years as an engineer and now paints abstract acrylic pieces influenced by architecture and natural landscapes. Impressionist landscape artist Judith Feins has been inspired by California’s landscapes as well as French and Italian architecture. Linda Yoshizawa mixes American and Japanese style art in her monotypes and collage pieces. She has also done solar etchings and dry point etchings. The event begin with complimentary appetizers at 4:30 p.m., followed by the discussions at 5:00 p.m.
Formerly held at the now-closed Knoxx restaurant, Art Talks will be a semi-regular event at Chevalier, with the next one scheduled for December 9. Reservations are not required. Guests are welcome, but not obligated, to stay for dinner.
