Diablo is always interested in learning the latest trends in travel for our readers, especially for the winter snow season. Travel and Leisure magazine has recognized Truckee as one of America’s Best Small Ski Towns in their December issue. Truckee, located north of Lake Tahoe, captures the ideal small-town community with a winter wonderland for skiers to enjoy. The other towns that made Travel and Leisure’s list were Crested Butte, Colorado; Bend, Oregon; Warren and Waitsfield, Vermont; and Tetonia, Idaho.
