Born in Switzerland, Schmid went on to Cal State East Bay, and has a degree from the California College of the Arts. She describes her design process as “organic minimalism,” and her pieces can definitely be considered works of art.

New Store Location
CY Louie, the jewelry store that closed its Broadway Plaza doors at the beginning of the year, has found a new home. Its now open in downtown Walnut Creek where Thread Consignment used to be.
