Cal Shakes Costume Sale

Theater company announces sale of old costumes for cheap to benefit artistic and educational programming.

Mark your calendars dumster-divers, thrift store aficionados, and Renaissance Faire-goers, Cal Shakes has announed a very unique sale. After a huge reorganization of its inventory, the Berkeley Shakespeare theater company will be selling off 35 year's worth of excess costumes, wigs, and accessories at thrift store prices. Armor, capes, even unique modern pieces, there's a ton of inventory available, all you have to do is use your imagination. The sale lasts just four days, from August 6 through August 9 at the Cal Shakes Rehearsal Hall in West Berkeley—all proceeds will go to Cal Shake's artistic and educational programmin.
