As you may have noticed in recent weeks, Broadway Plaza has had several stores move or close. The closing of Bath and Body Works has been mourned by many, but we have a sneaking suspicion that the outdoor shopping area may simply be getting renovated. Check back for more news in the coming weeks.

Speaking of Walnut Creek, the corner across from Tiffany & Co. will be undergoing a major facelift. Brian Hirahara, the developer behind restaurants Sasa and Va de Vi, is taking over. We’ve heard there are plans for a rooftop area, as well as open-air spots and expansive windows. There will also be aesthetically appealing brick buildings with plenty of foliage. Stay tuned as more announcements are made.
