Doug's new show—Open Road with Doug McConnell—debuts tonight

Longtime Bay Area Backroads host explores the West on his new PBS show.

Fans of the classic travel show, Bay Area Backroads, are in for a treat tonight when Doug McConnell's new show premieres on KQED television. Open Road with Doug McConnell airs at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 9. If you're already committed to the NCAA championship game or the A's opener tonight, you can also watch the premiere on Doug's website, OpenRoad.tv.
