Tumbleweed Wanderers This soul/folk band with a hint of rock and roll features five artists from Oakland, who perform with such electrifying energy that audiences are sure to jump and dance along. They open up the series with their banjo-rock sound, along with their acoustic harmonies and soulful explosions.

Wolf Hamlin & The Front Porch Drifters American Idol Season 11 contestant Wolf Hamlin pairs with The Front Porch Drifters to create a seven- piece band with thrilling guitar sounds mixed with fiddles, violins, drums, and a stand up bass. The group is known to resemble the sounds of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash, but with a more modern twist on outlaw music.

The Wheeland Brothers With their cool attitude and beachy reggae sound, these Orange County brothers are undoubtedly inspired by their Southern California roots. Nate “Frogg” and Travis Wheelend combine acoustic and ukulele rhythms for a fresh, organic sound that is sure to put listeners in a good mood.

Wolf Hamlin & The Front Porch Drifters The group lights up the stage once again to close up the 2013 concert series.

The Lone Bellow The Lone Bellow is a trio from Brooklyn that specializes in a mixture of harmonized folk and pop. Zach Williams, the band’s lead singer, follows Springsteen’s footsteps religiously, and is known for delivering his songs with incredible power and passion.

The Kin This band has risen in success from performing at the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, Soho House, the Seven Grand Whiskey Bars, and now the Homegrown Music Series. Their gritty pop sound has audiences calling their songs “musical robberies,” so come see what all the fuss is about!

Crawdad Republic This Bay Area band performed at the Front Porch Festival in 2012, and will return with their combination of Americana, folk, and bluegrass rhythms.

Lisa Marie Johnson A San Francisco State University student by day and a singer/songwriter by night, Lisa Marie loves playing both original and cover tunes with her own twist. She is expected to cover locals like Arion Salazar, Jordan Feinstein, John Marales and Matt Blackett, along with songs that she has written herself.
