You'll Shoot Your Eye Out! Come enjoy this modern classic on the big screen—for free—on December 11 at the Orinda Theatre

We're wrapping up another year of free classic movies at the Orinda Theatre, and we're going out of 2014 in style. This month's movie is the modern classic A CHRISTMAS STORY, Bob Clark's hilarious reflection on the holiday experience of young kids growing up in 1940's America. This is a lovely and side-splittingly funny film that seems to get better every holiday season.

To add to the fun, cast members Scott Schwartz, who played "Flick," and Zack Ward, who played the bully "Scut Farkus," will be on hand to tell stories and answer questions about the film's production before the screening. As always, we will give away delicious cupcakes from Republic of Cake as prizes to trivia questions before the film.

The program starts at 7 p.m.on Thursday, December 11. We are expecting a very large turnout for A CHRISTMAS STORY—so please arrive early to find parking and best available seating (first come, first seated). The auditorium usually opens about 20 minutes before showtime, and patrons can lineup outside the theatre before 6:40 p.m.

See you at the movies!
