Popcorn Picks Contest: Win tickets to the Danville International Children's Film Festival this weekend

Diablo is giving away pairs of tickets to this weekend's delightful festival at the Village Theater and Danville Town Hall.

When I was a kid, I used to go watch movies on Saturday mornings in the multi-purpose room at Rancho Romero elementary school in Alamo. For $.25, you got a cup of punch and got to see movies like Tom Sawyer and the Apple Dumpling Gang and Gus (the one about the field goal-kicking mule). Good times.  I wish we had the wonderful Danville International Children's Film Festival back then. This annual fest at the Village Theater doesn't just show kid-friendly flicks, it shows films made by kids, and offers a variety of acting and filmmaking workshops as well. We're giving away a few pairs of tickets to lucky Diablo readers, so fill out the form below and keep your fingers crossed!

Please enter by Friday, May 15, to qualify.
