Web Intern, Diablo magazine
Diablo magazine's Editorial Department seeks a Web Intern to assist editors with producing and uploading web content for the monthly city/regional magazine's website, Diablomag.com. Primary duties include working directly with editors and art directors to upload web content, and researching information and gathering art for blogs. Based on interest, additional opportunities may include proposing web story ideas, writing blogs and web articles, and/or shooting photography. Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, and/or video editing/posting is a plus. Preferred background: Journalism, multi-media majors or graduate level students, currently enrolled in a course for credit. Familiarity with HTML and Photoshop is a definite plus. Sales and Marketing Intern, Diablo Publications
Diablo Publications is looking for energetic and knowledgeable interns to assist in our sales and marketing efforts. Learn about advertising and marketing in our challenging, exciting and fast-paced work environment. Familiarity with the San Francisco/East Bay/North Bay is a definite plus. Requirements: 10-15 hours per week for three to six months for college credit. Preferred background: Solid research and analytical skills, proven organizational skills, detail-oriented and must have the ability to multi-task. Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of Word and Excel. Editorial Intern, Diablo magazine
Diablo magazine seeks qualified interns to assist editors with producing the award-winning monthly regional magazine.  Applications are accepted year-round.  Primary duties are research and fact-checking, with opportunities for writing and editing. Proposing story ideas and taking on more responsibility, depending on experience, is encouraged. Minimum eight hours per week required for three to six months. Preferred background: English and journalism majors or graduate-level students with writing and editing experience. Familiarity with the East Bay is a definite plus.
