Sentinels of Freedom Golf Gala

Diablo Valley Veterans Foundation hosts benefit to support East Bay vets at Diablo Country Club

Colonel Danny McKnight, author of Streets of Mogadishu, was a guest speaker at the fifth annual Sentinels of Freedom Golf Gala. The event was held at Diablo Country Club and raised funds to support returning veterans who have suffered severe injuries. The San Ramon-based organization provides these warriors with various forms of support. Diablo profiled Sentinels of Freedom in this March 2011 article.
