FeedEast Bay Debutante's Winter Ball
Winter Solstice marks this annual tradition for young women in the East Bay
More than 700 guests and family members gathered at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco for the 53rd Winter Ball, where 30 East Bay debutantes took their bow. This year there were nine girls from Piedmont, eleven girls from Orinda, with the remaining debutantes coming from Modesto, Berkeley, Healdsburg, Calistoga, San Francisco, Encinitas, and Oakland.
Hill Branch, founded in 1914, has been committed to the raising of funds for children’s care, pediatric research and teaching at Children’s Hospital, Oakland—through the success of the Winter Ball, an annual event since 1958, Hill Branch has donated well over $4,000,000 to Children's Hospital.
