Authors Under the Stars benefits Walnut Creek Libarary Foundation

Local authors entertain at panel discussion, dinner

Authors Under the Stars at the Renaissance ClubSport in Walnut Creek was scheduled to be an outdoor event, but moved inside at the 11th hour due to an unexpected storm. The dinner and author discussion featured a lively panel of local writers, including Ayelet Waldman (Bad Mother), Cameron Tuttle (Paisley Hanover Acts Out), Lisa McGuinness (Baby Turtle's Tale), Eric Simons (Darwin Slept Here) and Simon Wood (Paying the Piper) and Diablo's senior editor, Peter Crooks. The event raised $35,000 for the Walnut Creek Library Foundation.
