The Oakland Zoo held its 17th annual Walk in the Wild on Saturday, June 27, where guests chose to beat the heat by sampling some of the finest local treats.

Saturday, June 27 marked the Oakland Zoo's 17th annual Walk in the Wild, a fundraising event that hosts more than 90 local restaurants, caterers, bakeries, wineries and breweries.
The event featured a gala called the "Patron Party" which included wine, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, the main event, "Walk in the Wild," in which guests "wined, dined and strolled" their way through the Oakland Zoo as well as an evening of dance, dessert, drinks and fun under the night sky.
