Kid Chefs Video Contest

As part of our November Food Issue, we've come up with another crazy idea. We want you to videotape your little one as they whisk, whip, pour, and generally make a huge mess of your kitchen—then send us the video. Remember: the cuter the better. The top contestants will win some fabulous prizes and at least 15 seconds of fame!

We're now accepting videos and will be through January 15. To upload your video onto our Youtube page, CLICK HERE and then click on "post a video response" at the bottom.  Scroll down for further uploading instructions and to check out all the videos.

Uploading Instructions

If you do not have an account with Youtube (it’s free and easy to sign up), follow steps 1-3 below.

If you already have a YouTube account, login with your username and password, then continue to steps 2 and 3.

1. Creating an Account
   1.    Go to www.youtube.com.
   2.    Click the “Create Account” link located on the upper right-hand corner.
   3.    Create a username and complete the requested information.
   4.    Enter a valid email address and create a password.
   5.    Check your email for the Google/YouTube email verification, and click on the link inside the email to verify your account.

2. Uploading Your Video
   1.    On YouTube’s homepage, click the yellow “Upload” box link in the upper right-hand corner.
   2.    Click “Upload video”.
   3.    Locate your video and click “Open”.
   4.    Give your video a title and description (i.e. “Kid Chef Contest Entry”).
   5.    Optional: Select a category.
   6.    Make the sure the Privacy setting is set to “Share video with the world”.

3. Posting a Video Response to Diablo’s video
   1.    Go to Diablo’s video.
   2.    Click on the “Post a Video Response” link under the video.
   3.    Click “Choose a Video”.
   4.    Click on the title of your uploaded video.
   5.    Click “Post” or “Post Your Video”
   6.    Your video needs to be approved by Diablo before it is posted as a video response. Check the original Diablo video where you had posted your video response in the next few days to see your approved video response.
