Diablo Review:

Blue Gingko’s waterside lounge reels in passersby to a piscine paradise—regardless of their intended Blackhawk Plaza destination. The spacious interior, with its ocean blue ceiling, glimmering decor, and sleek sushi and liquor bars, is nearly as seductive. The fish here is pristine, as supple as you’ll find at Philip Yang’s other restaurants: Blue Gingko in Lafayette and Sasa in Walnut Creek. Lunch is the best value, with generous slabs of nigiri (ask for halibut fin, when available), spinach “sushi,” and seaweed salad. The rolls are stylish, and the specials innovative: Yang’s salmon melt eats like Poseidon’s pizza. If raw fish isn’t your passion, the choice of small plates is bounteous, including crunchy soft-shell crabs and tempura prawn lettuce wraps. Or just grab some soba noodles and a carafe of ice-cold sake. Lunch and dinner daily.
