Diablo Review:

Don’t blink as you turn from Pleasant Hill Road onto Gregory Lane, or you’ll miss the tender homemade crêpes and inventive panini sandwiches at Little Red Bistro. This teeny coffee shop restaurant offers vibrantly fresh spinach adorning its Little Italy crêpe, accenting a flavorful combo of chicken, tomatoes, artichokes, mushrooms, and cheese. A prosciutto panini—with roasted red pepper, pesto, and fresh mozzarella—plus the simple but well-made salads show that there’s real thought going on in the kitchen. Prices, and for some strange reason the silverware, are also teeny ($3.90 for a small Caesar salad; forks to fit Lilliputians). Fresh lemonade (seasonal), billowy lattes, and a rotating lineup of house-made desserts make the café a great place for an afternoon snack. Lunch daily
