Diablo Review:

With a splashy interior that includes gleaming limestone walls, a hopping bar, and folding glass doors for seating that spills out into the street, Opa makes for a scenic setting. But with its mix of authentic specialties like souvlaki, gyros, and moussaka—and more innovative dishes like the Metaxa chop, a double-cut pork chop rubbed with a spicy paprika and glazed with Greek honey, Dijon mustard, and brandy—the beauty here isn’t just skin-deep. The impressively light and flaky spanakopita is excellent, as is the zucchini drops appetizer: deep-fried balls of shredded zucchini and Feta cheese. The steaming plates of saganaki, or “flaming cheese,” are nothing short of thrilling. Soak in the bar scene with a Dirty Greek, a house-made cocktail with vodka, vermouth, a few drops of olive juice and garlic olive oil, and a Feta-stuffed olive. Lunch and dinner daily. Weekend brunch.
