Diablo Review:

Owners Michael Karp and Victor Ivry had a specific goal in mind for Table 24: a comfy neighborhood restaurant serving affordable, accessible food all day long. So far, so good, as the attractive eatery has been packing in Lamorinda families with its communal atmosphere and menu of straightforward but well-executed all-American fare. For appetizers, we particularly liked the fried oyster popovers: the iron-y goodness of the oysters shines through, complemented nicely by eggy bread and tart pickles. The grilled lamb chop lollipops, aromatic with charred rosemary, were tiny but tasty, and served with a side of addictive fries. Combining sausage, crimini mushrooms, basil, and melted parmesan, the flavorful pasta goombatz has soul—and makes for a hearty winter dish. Separate menus for kids (nine years and under) and middles (ages 10–16) provide good value. Breakfast, lunch, and, dinner daily.
