Guests enjoyed silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing with local entertainer DJ Diamond Dave as Contra Costa Interfaith Housing hosted its annual gala, Ruby Slippers—There’s No Place Like Home, at Round Hill Country Club.
CCIH provides scattered housing and permanent, supportive housing with on-site services that assist more than 1,000 homeless and low-income residents in Contra Costa County. Once in stable housing, families better utilize critical services that help rebuild their lives. On-site services include licensed professional mental health counselors, case managers, Homework Club to provide afterschool homework support and academic enrichment activities, parenting classes, employment support, and more.
