One of Land Home’s core beliefs extends beyond home finance and is rooted in their community partnerships. Because of this, they want to spotlight the Monument Crisis Center and their wonderful contribution to our local communities. Their work with the Monument Crisis Center, an organization who serves low-income families and individuals with nutritious food, education, general assistance and referrals, is born from a strong desire to create harmonious relationships and holistically drive civic evolution. In 2003, it started with 84 families. Since that time, the Monument Crisis Center has proudly supported over 19,000 low-income households! Executive Director, Sandra Scherer (pictured here with Ryan Smith, PR and Communications Director, Land Home Financial) spends her day answering the needs of families in crisis. The Center, founded by a small group of concerned citizens, provides a vital lifeline to at-risk individuals in Contra Costa County. It is a true face of our community.
