“Luxury” may not be the first word that springs to mind when one thinks of a continuing care retirement facility, but a new community in Pleasanton is changing that. The upcoming Stoneridge Creek seems more like a resort hotel—so much so that you may want to make your next vacation a visit to Mom and Dad.
Years it took for the project to get city approval. More than 100 future Stoneridge Creek residents showed up to at a city council meeting to lobby for the project.
Minimum cost for the first phase of construction, which includes more than 300 homes. Phases two and three should bring the total to as many as 635. Doors are set to open in the second half of 2013.
Acres of land make up the community, including 22 acres of parks, gardens, tennis and bocce courts, and a short-game practice golf course.

Seats in the community’s performing arts center for shows and guest lectures. Other extras include a spa, salon, fitness center, lap pool, and dance lessons.
