Q: The choir will perform at the In the Name of Love tribute to MLK on January 17. Why should people come see your choir?

A: Because we bring it! The choir presents authentic gospel music that inspires.

Q: Why is gospel music such an appropriate tribute for MLK?

A: Martin Luther King Jr. changed our country using gospel music. The movement wouldn’t have been nearly as profound without it.

Q: What’s your favorite part of the concert?

A: Watching the kids become aware of who Martin Luther King Jr. was. I’m old enough to have been alive when he was, but kids today look at him as sort of a myth. I want to tell the story he preached through music.
