Boutiques in Clayton? You betcha. Heather Carter brings designer fashions to the onetime cowtown by way of her new boutique, Sorelle, which means sisters in Italian. The shop, in the Clayton Valley Shopping Center, features denim by True Religion, AG, and People’s Liberation, tees by Rebecca Beeson, and Tylie Malibu handbags.

Alina B. has joined the cluster of high-end women’s boutiques in Walnut Creek. The shop at 1378 North Main Street showcases chic Euro threads, just like those found at owner Alina Bialobrodsta’s original Blackhawk location.

Just blocks away at 1524 Locust Street, Inge’s Footwear indulges the well shod with a new location. Owner Safet Halilovic has filled the space formerly occupied by Reed’s Cameras with comfort-conscious shoes for women and men by Dansko, MBT, and Mephisto. Meanwhile, his smaller shop at 1329 North Main Street has become the go-to source for shoppers on the prowl for discount footwear.

In Pleasanton, All About Me has moved its assortment of women’s clothing and accessories to a new location: 550 Main Street.

National spa chain Massage Envy will open another East Bay location on Ygnacio Valley Road in Concord. This third Massage Envy will resemble the newly opened Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek locations, which knead muscles until 10 p.m. on weeknights.

As you’re whisking around Diabloland exploring the new crop of shops, consider investing in an ecofriendly ride. O’Connell Electric, at 1537 Webster Street in Alameda, showcases a colorful assortment of mini electric cars sure to improve your environmental “carma.”
