Why Come? It’s the first Tri-Valley location of this San Jose food truck turned chain. The huge menu is focused mainly on Asian and European sandwiches, plus smoothies, coffee, and pastries.
What’s the atmosphere like? The supersmall space (two communal tables and several stools at a bar) is industrial chic, with brick and concrete walls and pendant lights in gold cages.
What to order? Vietnamese banh mi is the star, with zippy pickled vegetables and house-baked baguettes. It’s available in dozens of varieties, from grilled chicken to sardine to lemongrass tofu—or as a bowl atop noodles and greens with your choice of dressing.
How much? Sandwiches on foot-long baguettes and oversize croissants are a steal—most between $4.50 and $7.50.
When is it open? Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
Where is it? 4101-B Dublin Blvd., Dublin, (925) 828-8888, leesandwichesdublin.com.
