Having created a buzz with their Insect Songs CD, Danville’s top
children’s performers, Sandi and Stevie, are back with a new album
that’s sure to make a splash.
Sealife Songs features catchy tunes and tales of the Seahorse Ranch, Kitty Catfish, and the Fish Tea Party. Sandi and Stevie perform at Children’s Fairyland in Oakland March 12–13, and you can book them for your next party—and buy their CDs—at www.insectsongs.com.
Speaking of Children’s Fairyland, musicians from the beloved park have released the first Fairyland CD, Through the Shoe. Featuring classics such as "Humpty’s Fairyland Rap ’n’ Rhyme" and "El Burrito Enfermo," the album is best for children ages 2–6 and is available at Children’s Fairyland, 699 Bellevue Ave., Oakland, and at www.fairyland.org.
Finally, don’t miss 12-year-old Orinda wunderkind Chloe Pang’s recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Pang is the youngest musician ever to record all of the Variations, and the album was the top classical seller at Concord’s Tower Records store last fall. Available at Tower Records, 1280 Willow Pass Rd., Concord, (925) 827-2900, and at www.chloepang.com.
